Rock The Block

What is Rock The Block?

Rock the Block is an extension of Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's neighborhood revitalization. Stable, affordable housing is a key determinant of health. The house and neighborhood where one grows up impacts the health and longevity of one’s life. We tailor our efforts by partnering locally with residents and community leaders and organizations to best address real concerns and improve the lives of the people who live in the neighborhood.

Rock the Block is a one day event to bring people together to lift up a neighborhood and celebrate community. Hundreds of volunteers will gather to complete projects like cleaning up parks, removing tires, brush trimming, planting flowers, and light exterior repair projects.

Family friendly, youth grades 7 and up (must be 11 years old) to participate.
